Annual Update/Refresher Workshop’s

Once you have completed your training with the Yoga Pilates Training Academy Australia Pty Ltd graduates are recognised as full members of the Yogalates Teacher’s Association.

The workshop’s have been a great success and have given us the encouragement to continue to make them even more informative, interesting and fun filled. The stories shared about individual teaching experiences and how much the general public have gained through the Yogalates method was very rewarding. It made us realise how invaluable the workshop is as a forum for sharing, refining and developing the work further.

The enthusiasm of graduates is very contagious; and it is sensational to see the buzz on the many faces with the new work. The feedback received has been invaluable confirmation that we’re on the right track and that the many long hours the Academy spends on developing this method is all worthwhile.

The workshops are a fabulous opportunity for both learning new techniques or as a way to refresh teaching skills. We had a wonderful time with the last and were very uplifted by all the enthusiasm. We have included some testimonials below……

Testimony for the 2005 Update Workshop

“Having spent some time out in the big, wide world of teaching, attending The Refresher had a profound impact on my classes, providing incredible insight into how we’d grown and achieved as we spoke with confidence about our experiences since leaving the warmth of the nest. But then again, it was as though time stood still – leaving our shoes at the door, forming a casual circle, surrounded by familiar smiling faces, inquisitive about the new ones, the bolster was our desk top and a yoga mat our best friend. Exciting new poses, modifications and anatomical updates came hard and fast, imaginary class sequences darting back and forth in the monkey mind. LTB is now TB for valid physiological reason but, you had to be there. And, wow – can’t wait to use the band in Utkatasana to get the biceps happening as the quads burn! Sunday morning – Louise gave her first class in many months – to us! At the end of the course, all eyes are glazed with new and exciting knowledge. It took a week to add write up my bible, consolidating what I’d been instructed during The Refresher. New life was bred into my classes and students absorbed my enthusiasm with glee.
