“Having spent some time out in the big wide world of teaching, attending 'The Refresher' had a profound impact on my classes. It provided incredible insight into how we’d grown and what we'd achieved as we spoke with confidence about our experiences since leaving the warmth of the nest. But then again, it was as though time stood still – leaving our shoes at the door, forming a casual circle, surrounded by familiar smiling faces, inquisitive about the new ones, the bolster was our desk top and a yoga mat our best friend. Exciting new poses, modifications and anatomical updates came hard and fast, imaginary class sequences darting back and forth in the monkey mind. LTB is now TB for valid physiological reason but, you had to be there. And, wow – can’t wait to use the band in Utkatasana to get the biceps happening as the quads burn! Sunday morning – Louise gave her first class in many months – to us! At the end of the course all eyes are glazed with new and exciting knowledge. It took a week to write up my bible, consolidating what I’d been instructed during 'The Refresher'. New life was bred into my classes and students absorbed my enthusiasm with glee.

" . . . the update training was greatly appreciated. Fantastic opportunity to catch up with 2002 classmates and network with teachers from other years. Loved the format of the two days. I particularly liked the lesson we had with Louise and the Q&A session. I am the only Yogalates teacher within driving distance so don't get the opportunity to be a student as often as I would like! This is a valuable opportunity to advance our professional skill and maintain the quality of the product we deliver. I hope to be at the 2006 Update and would recommend it to others. And the new studio - what a beautiful space!"
