Greetings Louise and staff,
My name is Tam (Tamera) Raynor and I'm living in Tanzania, East Africa in the southwest bush area. My husband and I are missionaries working with a hospital, primary school mission called Chimala Mission Hospital. I'm a teacher of English, computers, reading music, art and Bible and Chris is the preacher. In 2005 I had to return to Texas, USA because of extreme pain and numbness in my left arm. After seeing the doctors we found that my shoulder and neck muscles were so tight they were pinching off the nerves to my left arm. I have no chiropractors in Tanzania so I had a choice; do something "radical" like Yoga or return to the States for good. I went to a store and found your Yogalates DVD and purchased it, not knowing a thing about it. I bought the bands (stretch) and returned to Africa.
Since then I have so enjoyed the workouts you provided which have helped my muscles relax and have helped me learn how to breathe. I have purchased in later years other people's DVD's but was not able to do those exercises until I had mastered yours. I return to your DVD often for relaxation. I thank God for your efforts to educate people in a gentle way. I haven't needed a Chiropractor since I started using your method. I can sit up straight now. I breathe in times of stress.
